    The city of Zurich, a global centre for banking and finance, lies at the north end of Lake Zurich in northern Switzerland. The picturesque lanes of the central Altstadt (Old Town), on either side of the Limmat River, reflect its pre-medieval history. Waterfront promenades like the Limmatquai follow the river toward the 17th-century Rathaus (town hall).

  • Angkor Thom - Siem Reap

    You're cruising along in a tuk-tuk, the warm Cambodian air tousling your hair, the anticipation building up. And then, you see the majestic South Gate of Angkor Thom, with its stone faces towering over you, greeting you with serene smiles that have withstood the ebbs and flows of time. It's one of those moments where you have to pinch yourself. Yep, Sal did precisely that, right on my arm! Stepping into Angkor Thom is like walking into a different era. This was the last capital of the great Khmer Empire, and guys, the vibe is otherworldly. The centrepiece? With its 216 giant faces etched into stone towers, the enigmatic Bayon Temple is gazing down at you with an air of mystery. Wandering through the ruins, we couldn't help but marvel at the sheer ingenuity of the Khmer architects. Every corner tells a story, and every ancient stone slab is a page from history.
