Hotel Majestic - Four nights
From check-in to check-out, the experience was majestic.
We stayed in a Comfort Double room on level 3 for four nights. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom, excellent water pressure and amenities, and a heavenly king-size bed with high-quality linen.
However, the shower had a slight design flaw, as the water flooded the bathroom.
The view over the park was tranquil and relaxing. You opened the double doors to the Juliet balcony to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.
I was impressed with the fast turnaround each morning. Your room was always cleaned during breakfast, so you always returned to an immaculate room.
We enjoyed a daily breakfast at The Hemingway Bar downstairs, and it was full service, along with plenty of options to get you through the day and more! We loved the fried eggs and omelette; the fresh orange juice and warm croissants were a treat, too. The only negative was you did have to pay for bottled water, as there was no free table water available. The staff were amicable and remembered your coffee order after the first day, and it arrived as you sat down:-) The Hemingway also had impressive cocktails.
The location was perfect and very central. It was only a few minutes' walk to the old town and the beautiful marina, which had an abundance of restaurants and bars.
