Airbnb - Zagreb

Updated: Jan 16

It is the perfect location to explore Zagreb on foot; you are in the city's heart with all the hotspots on your doorstep.

This is an excellent, funky area with lively local bars, restaurants, markets and retail.

This Airbnb is very quiet, the bedroom has complete dark-out blinds (yeah!), and the little outdoor area gets plenty of sun, as does the whole apartment.

The kitchen was small but well-equipped; we could cook most nights and had everything we needed. There is a great supermarket 5 minutes walk away, along with a fresh fruit and vegetable market in the square.

My only concern (a common issue in Croatia) is that they supply no cleaning products. So things like the dishwasher didn't have salt, rinse aid, etc. I suggest you bring your cleaning products and take them to each Airbnb as you travel.

Vid, our Airbnb host, was fantastic to communicate with, very prompt, and constantly checked in to ensure you were satisfied with the apartment.

It is excellent value for money, and I would choose Vid's place again if we returned to Zagreb.
